How to read an F1 upgrade submission
An FIA submission is the starting point for understanding an upgrade. It records what a team says has changed and the aim of that change. It is not a final verdict on race use or performance.
Find the part
Start with the listed car area, such as the front wing, floor or rear wing. This site places every item on a common car map.
Read the stated aim
The document reports the team’s stated objective. It may refer to airflow, cooling, balance or reliability.
Keep the boundary clear
A submission does not prove that the part raced, how much it changed performance, or how it compared with other teams.
