What is a Car Presentation Submission?
It is a public FIA document in which teams state changes made to their car for a Grand Prix and the stated aim. This site organises those entries by car area.
Does a listed part mean it raced?
Not necessarily. A submission alone does not confirm race use, duration of use or a performance effect.
What is the difference between the change and the intent?
The change is the component modification stated by the team. The intent is the team’s stated purpose, not a measured performance result.
Do more reported items mean a team became faster?
No. An item count does not show development scale, importance or lap-time change. Read each component and stated aim in context.
What is the difference between performance development and circuit setup?
We classify broad performance-focused changes as performance development, and changes tailored to a Grand Prix as circuit setup. These are readable labels based on the document wording.
When are new entries added?
We add an entry after checking a newly available official FIA document. The GP update reports show the reviewed coverage for each round.
